Tea Tip

Healthwise, it makes no difference if you sip tea steaming hot or chilled. But pass on bottled teas. A study shows they lack major antioxidant found in tea, plus they may be loaded with sugar.

To get maximum health benefits when you brew your own iced tea: Pour two cups of boiling water over four tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for five minutes, then press down on the bags. Remove bags, add cold water and ice cubes.

I am so glad you posted this. I have noticed that I do not feel the same when I consume commercial green tea in bottles vs brewing my own batch.

i agree with jaslivecash. I haven't thought also that this commercial bottled iced tea may contain too much sugar. I have friends who told me so. But I just disagreed. I loved bottled icedtea and just told them that it's healthy. Thanks for this info...my friends were right.
